Yosemite Short Line Railway Company Bond 1905

Very attractive bond certificate issued in 1905 from the Yosemite Short Line Railway Company. In VG condition with a page of coupons on the back. Nice railroad vignette. The bonds were floated to build a 60 mile narrow guage from Jamestown to Yosemite connecting to the Sierra Railway Company at Jamestown. After the San Francisco earthquake, the effort was abandoned with only a few miles laid. Click on image for larger view. Would look nice framed for a Yosemite collector.
