The Sunnyside Mining and Milling Company Stock Certificate 1923

Stock certificates from the Sunnyside Mining and Milling Company are very scarce. This one is issued to Anna J. Terry in 1923. The Terry family controlled the famous Sunnyside for over thirty years. Upon Judge Terry's death in 1910, the mine was owned by his three children. In 1917, the United States Smelting and Refining Company took control of the mine. This information came from the great book, "Silverton Gold, The Story of Colorado's Largest Gold Mine", by Allan G. Bird. The certificate is in excellent condition with stamp cancels.
