Fantastic, rare Colorado mining photo circa 1905. Shown is the Ross Kendrick smelter at Silverton, Colorado controlled by the Ross Mining and Milling Company. Grout and St. Claire Photo, Silverton, Colorado. The Ross Mining and Milling Company also controlled the Champion mine at Silverton. Photo is not mounted, but was likely intended for that purpose. Condition is VG+. Small rust spot by left edge with tiny pinhole. Measures 9 1/2" x 7 1/2". Click on image for larger view.
